Lane's Bakery & Gifts has a long tradition of serving the Madison area with uncommonly delicious treats. Dedication to service and only the finest quality items to deliver the best customer service has always been the mission of Lane's Bakery & Gifts. Every item that we sell becomes a relationship with our clients and our hope is to continue to build a stronger relationship with you all. We are proud to be a 4th generation Madison business. As we group with our neighborhood we look forward to the future. Below we share some of our history.

1954 Charles & Flay Lane opened Lane's Bakery on University Ave.

1957 Moved to 602 South Park Street

1961 Jerry & Nancy Lane take ownership

1975 National Baker of the Year.

1987 Built our current location.

2001 Inducted into the Wisconsin Bakers Hall of Fame.

2002 Wisconsin Baker of the month (twice)

2003 Initial launch of the first Lane's website

2003 Chuck & Mike Lane take the ownership

2009 Online ordering becomes available on
